It has come to light in the last few seasons
that one of Abergavenny's most senior players
has been losing his pace. Refusing to let his
advancing years creep up on him gracefully,
he has laid down the challenge that he is still
the fastest player in South Wales over 5 yds.
This Tuesday (11/10/05) at training 8pm at Abergavenny
Leisure Centre will you take up his challenge
and be quicker off the mark? See this space
for post race results and excuses.

This umpire briefing covers all matches in Wales.
It is being issued to try and ensure transparency
and consistency at all levels of the game in
Wales. It is in line with the briefing paper
issued by the FIH and to English National League
Umpires.
